God Is Not An Enabler Of The Wicked!

God is not an Enabler .  .  .  !    : By James Lantz

Jesus is God’s gift to the world. No greater gift could have been given to fallen man than the gift of eternal life through His Son, Jesus Christ! We know that all things were made by the word of God, all things were made for the word of God, and that everything consist by the word of God.  John 1:1  In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.  Jesus is the reflection of God’s glory and the exact likeness of His being, and He holds everything together by his powerful word! In Him we live and move and have our being. Jesus is the one who gives us our next breath! He gives grace to the humble and resist those who are proud. God raises the poor out of the dust and sets them among princes! God’s goodness is most extravagant and His grace so extreme! He gives everyone a choice to come and be a part of His family! He welcomes all who will receive His Son! There is no good thing that He will withhold from those who walk uprightly. Since God refused to withhold His own Son and gave Him up to die in our place,He will also freely give us all things in Him.  Jesus revealed that everything the Father has belongs to His children!  Luke 15:31  And he said unto him, Son, thou art ever with me, and all that I have is thine.  Paul, writing by the Spirit, reiterates that every promise of God is ours in Christ!  2 Cor. 1:20  For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us. God has decreed that He is for us, that He will strengthen us, and help us.  Isa. 41:10  Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.  The dictionary describes an enabler as a person or thing that makes something possible. God is not just our creator but He sustains us by His power and gives every good

An Enabler Is A Person Or Thing That Makes Something Possible

thing.  1 Tim. 6:17  Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not high minded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy;  God is not against His people being rich but He is against them being covetous which is idolatry. God is not an enabler of the wicked! The wicked have removed themselves from God’s protection and thus they are in a very vulnerable position.  Luke 13:5  I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.  Often people think of the wicked as those who are murderers, adulterers, idolatrous and generally someone other than themselves. The truth is that condemnation came upon the whole world through Adam’s sin and that every one of us need to acknowledge that we were sinful and in need of a savior.  John 3:18  He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God God assigned an angel to watch over each of us the moment we were conceived and the good news is that we don’t lose our guardian angel just because we grow up. Many of us can look back and see where we were protected and our life was spared. The fact that death and life are in the power of the tongue becomes easier to understand when we realize that our guardian angel must respond according to God’s word.  Ps. 103:20  Bless the Lord, ye his angels, that excel in strength, that do his commandments, hearkening unto the voice of his word.  There are three main ways that we communicate with God. We communicate with our words, our actions, and our heart. God sees our heart and thus that is our highest form of communication with the Father. Our actions are second and our words are the lowest form of communication. This explains why Jesus will have to tell many on judgement day who prophesied in His name and cast out devils, I never knew you, depart from me, you who work iniquity. The ones who say they love Jesus but continue to walk in sin are lying because they really love their sin more than obeying Him. Jesus deals with people differently depending on the condition of their heart. Jesus spoke compassionately to the woman caught in adultery because apparently she was already repentant and needed to know that God would receive her. Jesus did reprove her when He said, go and sin no more, but she knew that she was loved. Jesus spoke very differently to the scribes and Pharisees who appear unto men to be righteous but inside were full of extortion, excess, hypocrisy, iniquity, and covetousness. Jesus said, woe unto you, meaning you are headed for destruction. Strong words were spoken to awaken them to the error of their ways, and asking, how can you escape the damnation of hell.

We are commanded to love our fellow believers in the same manner that Jesus loves us!  John 13:34  A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one anotherEphesians 4:32  And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.  We are to do everything in our power to keep strife far from us. If we abide in Him we must walk even as He walked!

Who are the wicked that God Himself will not help?
