The Blessing Connection  Pt. 1:  By James Lantz

It has been said that Jesus has bridged the separation of sinful man back to the Holy, righteous, and merciful God who created him. That is exactly what God has made available through sending Jesus to bear the curse of spiritual death (separation from the Father), the curse of sickness, and the curse of poverty through His suffering at the hands of men, and the suffering in the region of the damned!  Gal. 3:13&14  Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.  God makes the blessing that Adam forfeited available to every person who chooses Christ and the life that He offers! This great redemption blessing of being born from above and set free from sickness and poverty is restored to us through faith! Every part of Jesus sacrificial offering of Himself was necessary for the total redemption of man, spirit, soul, and body. Jesus bore our sins so we could be made righteous!  2 Cor. 5:21  For he (God) hath made him (Jesus) to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him. Jesus redeemed us from sickness through the stripes that were laid on Him.  1 Pet. 2:24  Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.  God is a rich God and the scriptures teach that He became poor so that we might become rich! We are to discern between that which He accomplished as are substitute and that which was done for our example. Jesus became poor not as an example for us to be poor but so we could be made rich!  2 Cor. 8:9  For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich. It should not seem strange to us that the same power and anointing of God that raised us from the dead and placed us in Christ Jesus at the Father’s right hand would heal us from every sickness and cause abundance to be added to us in this life!  Rom. 8:32  He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?  God wants you to believe this and experience His blessing!  Pro. 10:22  The blessing of the Lord, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it.

We could say that Jesus is our connection to the blessing of the Lord, and He is, but I want to zero in on how we connect to Him and the blessing.  Acts 3:26  Unto you first God, having raised up his Son Jesus, sent him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from his iniquities. Jesus has been given to the whole world and yet not everyone has received eternal life through Him. We know also that healing has been provided for every one of God’s children and yet many are still sick. We know that every christian has been given the power to get wealth and yet many of God’s people are struggling to meet their obligations. I want to emphasize one of the main connecters that brings what Jesus accomplished for us through redemption into manifestation in this life. This connecter is faith in God! Sometimes we can receive gifts of healings or some other blessing through

other’s faith and prayers but when we are praying the prayer of faith for ourselves we need to believe in our heart and say or pray our request. In coming to God for ourselves we must believe that He is the Almighty God and that He can do all that we are coming to Him for and we must believe that He will do it for us. The very first thing that many of us came to the Father for was forgiveness and salvation through Jesus Christ. We had to believe that God was the ultimate authority on whose sins would be forgiven and who would receive eternal life. We had to believe that God was good and that He would receive those of us who received His Son Jesus and therefore we confessed that Jesus was our Lord! There are two main connectors that are required when we are receiving from God through our own faith. We must confess with our mouth that it is ours and we must believe in our heart that it is ours!  Rom. 10:9  That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.  Rom. 10:10  For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.  Precious and eternal things, like salvation, forgiveness, the baptism in the Holy Spirit, healing and wholeness, protection and provision can not be bought with money but are freely given to all who will receive by faith.  Eph. 2:8  For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:  Grace has been defined as God’s unmerited favor. The grace of God includes His desire and willingness to use His Authority, Ability, Power, and resources to do things in you, for you, and through you! The blessing of the Lord is a manifestation of God’s goodness, a reward for the righteous, and an empowerment that comes on the believing one! When we enter into that place of trust and obedience to God’s plan for our life, we enter into God’s rest (faith). God didn’t rest because He was tired after six days of creating, He rested because He was finished, for the future was established through the seed. God made everything to bear seed and reproduce after its kind and gave Adam charge over everything. Adam didn’t have  to make the blessing of the Lord happen, he just had to keep intruders out and let the blessing happen! Adam didn’t keep the blessing of the Lord working on his behalf for more than one chapter. Christ Jesus, the second Adam, the seed of Abraham, our big brother, has prequalified us to receive every blessing through Him!  Col. 1:12  AMPC  Giving thanks to the Father, Who has qualified and made us fit to share the portion which is the inheritance of the saints (God’s holy people) in the Light.  We must maintain our righteousness in Christ through obedience and not

We have been prequalified through Christ Jesus to receive every blessing!

doubting so that we keep the faith connection!  Rom. 4:3  For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness.  Rom. 4:6  Even as David also describeth the blessedness of the man, unto whom God imputeth righteousness without works   The Holy Scriptures reveal that righteousness is given as a free gift to all who believe! Faith in Christ reconnects us to the blessing that Adam lost. The Old Testament saints were made righteous the same way that we are today, through faith in God. God counted Jesus as the sacrificed lamb since the foundation of the world and thus righteousness was extended as credit until Jesus was raised from the dead. Under the old covenant there was fellowship with God through faith and blessings of healing, protection, provision, and the promise of eternity with the Lord. We who are born from above and recreated in Christ Jesus have a better covenant built upon better promises! Today, every believer can be filled with the mighty Holy Spirit and work mighty works!             Luke 7:28    John 14:12      Acts 2:17      Mark 16:17&18       1 Cor. 14:26

The gospel is not complicated nor difficult to understand unless you listen to the evil one who desires to confuse you and cause you to rebel against God. God told Adam, do not eat the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil or you will surely die. The commandments came with the same instructions. Observe and do all the things I command you and all these blessings will come on you! The great commission was given with instruction to observe everything Jesus commanded!  Mt. 28:19&20  Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

Keep it simple! Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved! Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength! Love one another as Jesus has loved us! God makes it easy to connect to the blessing of the Lord and stay connected! We can receive all of God’s blessings with our own faith the same way that we received salvation through Jesus Christ, by believing in our heart and saying with our mouth! Faith is always constant, consistent, ever ready, no respecter of persons, and instant! The law of faith never changes and the way we receive from God is through faith! Your faith will make you whole!

– Mary said, you are looking at the handmaiden of the Lord, Be it unto me just like you said!   (see Luke 1:38)

Luke 1:45  And blessed is she that believed: for there shall be a performance of those things which were told her from the Lord.

– The woman with the issue of blood said that she would be healed and believed it in her heart! (Mark 5:25-34)

Jesus said to her, your faith has made you whole!

– Jairus believed in his heart and said to Jesus, Lay your hands on my daughter and she will live, and she did!

– Two blind men cried out to Jesus to have mercy on them, Jesus asked if they believed He could heal them.

Mt. 9:28-30 . . . Jesus saith unto them, Believe ye that I am able to do this? They said unto him, Yea, Lord.

Then touched he their eyes, saying, According to your faith be it unto you. And their eyes were opened . . .

Believe the word of the Lord and speak it out and connect with the blessing of the Lord!
