Freed From The Babylonian System!

Freed from the Babylonian system!   By James Lantz

We have been delivered from the power of darkness and translated into the kingdom of God’s dear Son. This is not something that we are expecting to receive when we get to heaven, this transfer from the devil’s family into God’s family is what allows us to enter heaven. This translation from spiritual death into spiritual life is referred to as being born again. When we confessed Jesus as our Lord and believed upon Him in our heart we were born into the kingdom of God! In Colossians Jesus is referred to as the firstborn of every creature. The Ephesian letter reveals that we are made alive together with Christ. The epistle to the Romans and to us says that we are to walk in the newness of life by the glory of the Father.  Romans 6:4  Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.  Our heavenly Father wants us to begin to act like Him and to live by the rules of the Kingdom of God as soon as we are born again! We realize that the new birth is instantaneous but the renewing of the mind (soul) requires us to hear the word of God and submit to it. The new creature (born again spirit) is to take charge and present his body a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is only reasonable because of how Jesus sacrificed his body for us.  Rom. 12:2  And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.  Some have said, you can not think like God thinks, you are just human. We are not just mortal men, our bodies will die (except those who are alive at the time of Jesus catching us up), but our spirit is eternal and our bodies are going to be changed like unto his glorious body. (see 1 Cor. 15: 50-53 & 1 John 3:2)   When God said through His prophet Isaiah, my thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways my ways, He was referring to the wicked, not His righteous children. He goes on to explain that just as the rain comes down to ultimately give us a harvest to plant from and to eat from, so His word (His thoughts) have come down to give us a harvest (eternal life, healing, provision, joy, etc.) and food to eat.  Isa. 55:11  So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.   Caleb and Joshua were the only ones from that group of around two million Israelites miraculously delivered from Egyptian bondage to actually believe God and to enter into the promised land. All of the children of Israel were protected, healed,  and delivered from Egypt because of the blood and the eating of the passover lamb. They all passed through the sea and everyone of them was sustained by manna from heaven but not many believed

to enter the promised land.  Deut. 6:23  And he brought us out from thence, that he might bring us in, to give us the land which he sware unto our fathers.  Receiving eternal life is awesome, however, being God’s child includes letting go of the world’s way of thinking and doing things. That first generation who refused to take their inheritance were still looking to the arm of the flesh (their own strength), and not at the Almighty! The christian who knows what God said knows God’s thought on that matter.  1 Cor 2:16  For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.  This is referring to the spiritual man who’s mind is on the Lord and on the Lord’s things.  Col. 3:2  Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.  This person is about the Father’s business just like Jesus at age twelve.

The Babylonian system is designed by the devil to entrap and enslave mankind into loving this world system and to serve their own lusts. Those who do not have a Heavenly Father to love and provide for them are limited to scratching and clawing out their own existence or to beg or steal from others. The word Babylon refers to the ancient Babylonian empire and comes from the root word Babel which means confusion. Man without God can do some amazing things, however he can not be fulfilled nor filled with the Holy Spirit or get into heaven without God. God blessed Noah and his sons commanding them to be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth. The purposes of man separated from the purpose that God had called them to at the tower of Babel. In stead of worshipping God and pursuing His will they decided to build them a city and build them a tower and make them a name lest they be scattered through out the earth. Confusion was the judgement that came on these disobedient ones. Hard heartedness and rebellion still brings confusion on the scene.  Jer. 17:11  As the partridge sitteth on eggs, and hatcheth them not; so he that getteth riches, and not by right (this would include the person who steals God’s tithe’s and offerings), shall leave them in the midst of his days, and at the end shall be a fool.  God delivers those who are bound but the rebellious go without a

good wife or husband.  Ps. 68:6  God setteth the solitary in families: he bringeth out those which are bound with chains: but the rebellious dwell in a dry land.  Ham and Japheth pursued a lifestyle with out God as there source, but Shem stayed true to God. Shem is Abraham’s great, great, great, great, great, great Grandfather. A Jewish Rabbi teaches from their history that Noah’s son, Shem is the high priest Melchisedec. Shem lived 502 years after the flood and Abram was born 292 years after the flood so it surely could well be that way. It sure does help to have believing and praying grandparents. Deut. 7:9  Know therefore that the Lord thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations.  The Babylonian system is making your own plans and making your own way without God as your source. It was the King of Babylon who had besieged Jerusalem and taken Daniel and other Hebrews back to the land of Babylon (modern day Iraq). God gave a dream to enlighten King Nebuchadnezzar to the fact that his great kingdom and other kingdoms would rise and fall and be crushed by the Kingdom of God.  Dan. 2:44 amp.  And in the days of these (final ten) kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom which shall never be destroyed, nor shall its sovereignty be left to another people, but it shall break and crush and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand forever.  This eternal kingdom that will crush every other kingdom is the kingdom of God which we have been born into. Jesus is the stone that Nebuchadnezzar saw being cut out of the mountain without hands and that broke in pieces the iron, the brass, the clay, the silver, and the gold. Jesus is the prophet that Moses said would be like him, that would be raised up from among his brethren and He is the one that you are to hear in everything He says.  Acts 3:22 & 23 .  .  .  every soul which will not hear that prophet, shall be destroyed from among the people.  Even wise king Solomon, in marrying wicked women, caused the children of Israel to worship false gods, bringing judgement in the dividing of the nation of Israel. God does not delight in the strength of the horse nor take pleasure in the legs of a man. The Lord takes pleasure in those who fear him and hope in his mercy.  Jer. 17 :5-8  Thus saith the Lord; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his (supply) arm, and whose heart departeth from the Lord.  .   .   .  Blessed is the man that trusteth in the Lord, and whose hope the Lord is. For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit.  The Apostle Paul says that no man is made righteous by the law in the sight of God but the righteous shall live by faith.

Glory to God! We have entered into the kingdom of God by grace through faith. We have been made righteous through Jesus righteousness and have been accepted by the Father through him. We are not our own and we are not on our own. The Lord is our shepherd and we do not want! He prepares a table for us right here in the earth. The demons are looking on trying to deter us from enjoying the Father’s good spread but they can not if we give them no place. There is forgiveness of sin, healing, protection, provision, peace, and joy unspeakable on this table. In 2015, let it be seen, that we are partakers of the Blessing of the Lord!
