She Ought To Be Healed! : By James L Lantz
Children of God ought to be healed through the right of redemption! God has made Jesus to be wisdom, righteousness, sanctification, and redemption unto us! 1 Corinthians 1:30 But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption: It is an awesome privilege to be accepted into the royal family and to have the great Heavenly Father as our very own Father and to be a joint heir with Christ Jesus! God had revealed Himself to the children of Abraham as the God who heals them in Exodus fifteen and He is still the same today. We who are of faith are also the children of Abraham! Gal. 3:7 Know ye therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham. God’s will to heal has been magnified and highlighted as a top priority throughout Jesus earthly ministry. Acts 10:38 How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him. Faith begins when the will of God is known! There was not one person who came to Jesus for healing that Jesus said, go away, it’s not my will to heal you. There is mention of Jesus refusing to help the Canaanite woman until she got honest with Him. She came to Jesus pretending to be a covenant daughter of Abraham, calling Him Lord, and Jesus refused to help her until she got honest with Him. Instead of getting offended with
Thou Preparest A Table Before Me In The Presence Of Mine Enemies!
Jesus, she got honest, and began to worship Him. Mt. 15:26 But he answered and said, It is not meet to take the children’s bread, and to cast it to dogs. Mt. 15:27 And she said, Truth, Lord: yet the dogs eat of the crumbs which fall from their masters’ table. Jesus then responded to her, O woman, great is your faith, may it be unto you just as you will, and her daughter was made whole from that very hour! On a different occasion, Jesus called a covenant woman who had been bound by a spirit of infirmity for eighteen years, to come to Him. Luke 13:12 And when Jesus saw her, he called her to him, and said unto her, Woman, thou art loosed from thine infirmity. Luke 13:13 And he laid his hands on her: and immediately she was made straight, and glorified God. This took place as Jesus was teaching in the synagogue on the sabbath day. The synagogue ruler answered Jesus with indignation, saying to the people, there are six days in which men ought to work, come and be healed then and not on the sabbath day. Jesus corrected this religious leader by saying, how hypocritical, that you place greater value on loosing your oxen for water on the sabbath day than you place on this daughter of Abraham being loosed from this infirmity. Luke 13:16 And ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan hath bound, lo, these eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the sabbath day? Our Lord’s compassion for the lost, the poor, and the sick and the act of giving His life to redeem us from spiritual death, poverty, and sickness solidifies the Father’s will for us! Matthew 9:35 And Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people. Jesus, in obedience to the Father’s will, prioritized healing the sick right along with teaching and preaching the kingdom of God! When we realize that we have right standing with God we become confident to receive healing. 1 John 3:21 Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence toward God. The first words that Jesus ministered to the paralytic who was lowered down through the roof, were, son, your sins are forgiven you! Apparently, this man needed to be assured that his sin would not block himfrom receiving his miracle. The scribes assembled in the house began reasoning in their minds, who can forgive sins but God alone. Mark 2:7 Why doth this man thus speak blasphemies? who canforgive sins but God only? Jesus answered their question by asking, which is easier to say, your sins are forgiven you, or get up, take your bed and go home, and then confirming His power with healing. Mark 2:10 But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins, (he saith to the sick of the palsy,) Mark 2:11 I say unto thee, Arise, and take up thy bed, and go thy way into thine house. Mark 2:12 And immediately he arose, took up the bed, and went forth before them all; insomuch that they were all amazed, and glorified God, saying, We never saw it on this fashion.
God wants His people well. The beloved John prioritizes prospering and being in health in his last letter. 3 John 2 ASV Beloved, I pray that in all things thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth. The psalmist David names healing second when relating God’s benefits. Psalms 103:3 Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases; Understanding that God’s word is not only informative but empowering places the ability to succeed in our hands! Joshua 1:8 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success. He truly has sent His word to save and to heal! Jesus taught that God’s word brings forth fruit of itself which includes the manifestation of salvation and healing. He said, take heed how you hear! The devil comes and steals the word of God from the uninterested one so that he can’t believe to be saved or healed. Luke 8:12 Those by the way side are they that hear; then cometh the devil, and taketh away the word out of their hearts, lest they should believe and be saved. This word saved is translated from the greek word Sozo which means to save, deliver, protect, heal, preserve, do well, and to be whole. Sozo is also translated as save in the book of James. James 5:15 And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him. Sozo is also translated healed in Acts fourteen when Paul perceived that the paralyzed man at Lystra had faith to be healed. We can easily see how refusing to hear what God says shuts off the flow of God’s mercy. Mark 4:12 That seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand; lest at any time they should be converted, and their sins should be forgiven them. Make Straight Paths For Your Feet That You Might Be Healed!
is precious hope for those who will open their eyes and hear with their ears and look to the Lord for healing. Matthew 13:15 For this people’s heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them. Healing is accessible at any time! This is good news and completely different than some theologian telling you that you never know what God is going to do. God is going to do exactly what He said He would do! He is going to heal all those who open their eyes and their ears and do what He tells them. Opening our eyes and ears to the truth is an act of repentance. God wants us to receive healing by faith just like we received eternal life by faith. All who come to God for healing must believe that He is the healer and that He will heal you! Receive your healing by faith today because Jesus has redeemed you from the curse of sickness and you ought to be healed! GLORY TO GOD!
Update On The Lands And Building Project!
The Lord has given us clarity on the the design of the church building and location of the driveway. Driveway permit process has brought some PennDot requested revisions and we are
expecting to get the permit soon. PRAISE THE LORD!
Investors will share in the reward for every salvation, every backslider who comes back to God, every one who receives the baptism in the Holy Spirit, every person healed, delivered and
restored, instructed and trained in the way of righteousness through this ministry. Jesus stated that where our treasure is, there will our heart be also. Our heart follows that which we value highly. David set his affection on God’s house and prepared for the building of God’s house with all his might and he finished well. Every seed we sow into kingdom projects secures a reward for us in heaven and brings forth a harvest in the earth after it’s own kind, plus we are keeping our heart close to God. God loves His people and will not with hold any good thing from those that love Him and are joined to His purposes. All who value our Lord’s command to not lay up treasure on earth for ourselves must keep our motivation for accumulation of wealth to be for distribution! You can have a part in this great work regardless of your current financial status. God is looking for people who are willing to give from what they have! Jesus will take the little and make it into a lot! In the scriptures we hear things like, what do you have in your house, or give according to what you have and not according to what you don’t have. Paul praises the liberality of those in the Macedonia churches who gave cheerfully even though they were experiencing much lack in their own lives. 2 Cor. 8:2 How that in a great trial of affliction the abundance of their joy and their deep poverty abounded unto the riches of their liberality. Paul then tells how they intreated him to please receive their gift! God was pleased with their faith and willingness to give from the little that they had. If we have desire but have nothing to give, God wants us to ask Him for seed. The same God who gives us food to eat, and multiplies the seed we have sown, is the God who gives seed to the sower. 2 Corinthians 9:10 Now he that ministereth seed to the sower both minister bread for your food, and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness;
This is good news! God is looking at our heart and not at how much we have or don’t have in our earthy account. Jesus said, I will build My church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail
against My church. You and I both know that gates are stationary, they do not charge anybody. We are the ones who charge the gates of hell where satan has bound those who are waiting to hear the truth that makes one free!

Special Guest Minister Ron Cohn
to minister at Parkesburg Word of Faith on Sunday evening April 14 at 6:30 PM
Brother Ron Cohn comes to us from Winston Salem, North Carolina. Mr. Cohn was born again
when he was twelve years old and baptized in the Holy Spirit in 1972.
Brother Cohn attended Rhema Bible College in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma and was privileged to be
a member of the second graduating class in 1976.
Since then Ron has traveled extensively throughout the United States and has ministered in several
foreign countries. During his ministry Brother Cohn has started and pastored several churches.
Unusual manifestations and operations of the Spirit have occurred over the years in his meetings.
Brother Cohn flows in the Psalmist ministry, receiving both songs and poems as the anointing leads
him!
Several years ago Brother Cohn experienced a powerful visitation of the Lord! Visions and
revelations came to him very quickly as he was obedient to seek God with all his heart. The Lord has
now released Brother Cohn to reveal some of these mysteries to the body of Christ!

3. Increase our commitment to Him through a greater willingness & quick obedience!
( Honoring God by putting Him and His things first place )
4. Be soft and pliable in His hands! ( A vessel He can use )
5. Praising more! ( God inhabits the praises of His people )
6. Greater love for one another!
7. Walk in humility!
8. Perseverence! ( Stay focused on building the temple )
