Romans 8:5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh;
but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.

Action Added To Faith Brings Results! : By James L. Lantz

Faith must have action or actions added to it to be activated! This is a spiritual law that works every time it is engaged! The Holy Spirit through James goes into great detail how faith must have corresponding actions to bring about God’s decreed results. How foolish it would be to expect faith alone to save us. Evil spirits believe there is One God but their actions do not correspond with their faith.  Luke 8:31 AMPC And they begged [Jesus] not to command them to depart into the Abyss (bottomless pit).  James speaks how saved people don’t show favoritism to one person over another. Saved people show mercy and help their brothers and sisters who lack. Those who talk but don’t do the things instructed by the Master are called vain or an idle boaster.  James 2:20 WNT  But, idle boaster, are you willing to be taught how it is that faith apart from obedience is worthless?  The King James translation says, But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?  God is expounding on what He has already said, you have to do what He says for your faith to work! When we understand the law of faith and how it is activated through our obedience we can begin to apply our faith at will. No one is going to be able to boast about their greatness in receiving great grace since God is the one who gave them the word.  Romans 3:27  Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith.  Faith comes by hearing what God said and faith works by love! The gospel is the power of God unto salvation to everyone who believes!  Rom. 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.  There are two actions required for one to be born from above, believe in your heart that God raised Jesus from the dead and confess with your mouth that He is your Lord! One action is from your heart in the unseen realm and one action is in the seen realm.

Add Action To Your Believing And Saying!

Everything God offers us by His grace must be received through faith in the heart and various forms of action. Saying with your mouth is the number one form of action! Abram had to quit saying, God, you gave me no seed and begin calling himself Abraham, father of nations in order to receive the promised son. Abraham and Sarah added coming together physically to their faith and confession and received their promised son.

In the first covenant God required every male to be circumcised in the flesh but now in our new and better covenant we are marked by circumcision of the heart.  Gal. 5:6  For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love. Upon receiving Jesus we are commanded to be baptized in

water as a testimony that we have given our life to God. Baptism in water is not what saves you but it is a monumental action clarifying that you now belong to Christ. Water Baptism is similar to being introduced as Mr. and Mrs. after you’ve vowed to love and cherish and keep yourself for each other as long as you both shall live. Who, after giving a heartfelt vow to the one they love, would choose to go their separate way after the wedding ceremony and live their life apart from the one they love. Our marriage to Jesus, like our earthly marriages, begins with saying I do and continues with actions of love. The plan of God is for us to mature from babyhood into childhood into young men and on into fatherhood!  Gal. 3:28  There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.  Babies are oblivious to the needs of others, they are solely focused on their own needs being met. Children are growing and learning and desiring to be like their parents.  1 John 3:10  In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.  Young men and women are strong in the word of God and know who they are in Christ! Overcoming the wicked one means that we have learned kingdom methods and are following the Holy Spirit’s leading.  1 John 2:14  I have written unto you, fathers, because ye have known him that is from the beginning. I have written unto you, young men, because ye are strong, and the word of God abideth in you, and ye have overcome the wicked one.  The people of God who wrought miracles and received healings added acts of obedience to their faith in God. Able offered God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain. Noah built the ark in obedience to God’s command! Abraham obeyed and left his homeland traveling to a place he didn’t know. Moses chose to suffer affliction with the people of God rather than enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season. Rahab risked her life to protect the spies! Bartimaeus unashamedly cried out to the Master for mercy! The impotent man who laid at the pool of Bethesda didn’t give up hope of being healed and received Jesus words!  John 5:8&9  Jesus saith unto him, Rise, take up thy bed, and walk. And immediately the man was made whole, and took up his bed, and walked: and on the same day was the sabbath.  The nobleman who came to Jesus requesting Him to come to his house and heal his son received a course correction and acted on Jesus words.  John 4:50  Jesus saith unto him, Go thy way; thy son liveth. And the man believed the word that Jesus had spoken unto him, and he went his way.  None of the above would have received their miracle or received healing without adding the appropriate action to their faith. The appropriate action is doing exactly what God said! A great example of a man acting on his faith is found in the fourteenth chapter of Acts. A certain man who was crippled in his feet who had never walked was listening to Paul speak. Paul was steadfastly beholding him and perceived that he had faith to be healed. Paul understood that he just needed to act on what he believed to receive his miracle.  Acts 14:9  The same heard Paul speak: who stedfastly beholding him, and perceiving that he had faith to be healed,  Acts 14:10  Said with a loud voice, Stand upright on thy feet. And he leaped and walked.  Perhaps you have faith for a miracle, do what the Holy Spirit is impressing on your heart and watch Him work. Dr. Luke records how some men brought their paralyzed friend to a house where Jesus was teaching but they couldn’t get in because of the multitude. The doorways and windows were packed with people but they found a way to the rooftop and let their paralyzed friend

Jesus Saw Their Faith!

down through the roof tiles directly in front of Jesus. Their faith was visible to Jesus!  Luke 5:20  And when he saw their faith, he said unto him, Man, thy sins are forgiven thee.  The scribes and Pharisees reasoned in their hearts, this is blasphemy, because only God can forgive sins. Jesus perceived their thoughts and said, why are you reasoning in your hearts? Then he asked, which is easier to say, your sins be forgiven you, or, Rise and walk? And Jesus proceeded too say to the paralyzed man, Arise, take up your couch and go to your house.  Luke 5:25   And immediately he rose up before them, and took up that whereon he lay, and departed to his own house, glorifying God.  Jesus saw their faith in their actions, they didn’t let crowded doorways stop them, nor fear, they spared no expense, most likely broke the roof open, whatever it takes for their friend to be healed.  2 Chron. 16:9  For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him. . . . God is still looking for those who will believe Him and act!

Those Who Put Their Trust In Man Don’t Recognize Real Opportunity!

The Lord says, cursed is the man that trust in man and makes flesh his arm, whose heart has departed from the Lord. He will be like a heath in the desert and will not see when good comes, but will inhabit parched places in the wilderness, in a salt land and not inhabited. The amplified classic brings out how it is evil to not trust in the Lord and those who are trusting in themselves cannot see the golden opportunities that God brings along. They live a barren dry life, never flourishing, because they refuse the life of faith and blessing.  Jer. 17:5 AMPC Thus says the Lord: Cursed [with great evil] is the strong man who trusts in and relies on frail man, making weak [human] flesh his arm, and whose mind and heart turn aside from the Lord.  Jer. 17:6 AMPC  For he shall be like a shrub or a person naked and destitute in the desert; and he shall not see any good come, but shall dwell in the parched places in the wilderness, in an uninhabited salt land.  Those who believe in and trust and rely on the Lord see what the Lord is offering and take it and are blessed!  Jer. 17:7 AMPC  [Most] blessed is the man who believes in, trusts in, and relies on the Lord, and whose hope and confidence the Lord is.  Jer. 17:8 AMPC  For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters that spreads out its roots by the river; and it shall not see and fear when heat comes; but its leaf shall be green. It shall not be anxious and full of care in the year of drought, nor shall it cease yielding fruit. Just as Paul stated there was a great door opened unto him but with many adversaries, God has opened and will open doors of opportunity for us to get the gospel out today! Friend, recognize the opportunity we have been given, right standing with The Father, keys to the kingdom, a place in His body, and a church to build! Those who are after the Spirit do mind the things of the Spirit

Prophetic word for 2025 by Kenneth Copeland – “ Our nation will come alive in 2025 ”

Prophetic word given to Rick Renner in August 2024 for this coming season ( 2024 & 2025 )

A Storm Is Coming – Batten Down The Hatches!

We are headed into a season of intense warfare on many fronts – economic, political, and spiritual. But the Lord is a man of war, and He knows exactly how to strategize against and overcome every assault against His people and against His Truth.

But just as one should batten down the hatches in a time of storms, God’s people must be mentally and spiritually prepared for a stormy season that lies directly ahead. However, with the grace of God, the power of the Holy Spirit, the promises of God’s Word, and the weaponry He has given, we can move forward step by step with the strategic guidance of the Holy Spirit. And God will triumphantly lead His people forward and carry out His plans for this end-time age.

This is not a time to fear, moan, or cry, but a time to rejoice, for God is strategically at work even in ways you do not see. Although it may seem the enemy and those he is influencing are attempting to derail God’s purposes, remember that the One who sits in the heavens laughs at their plans, and He will ultimately have them in derision (see Psalm 2:4). God is a Man of War, and in the end, His purposes shall surely prevail!
