The Mind Of Christ : by James L Lantz
In the letter to the church at Corinth the Spirit of God reveals that the spiritual man has the mind of Christ. 1 Cor. 2:16 For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ. A number of God’s thoughts are written in the Holy scriptures, and revealed to us by the Holy Spirit! The word of God is the wisdom of God! Matthew 7:24 Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: God also reveals many things that are not written in the word to those who seek Him in faith. God reveals a word of His wisdom and knowledge through the gifts of the word of wisdom and the word of knowledge. Discerning of spirits gives us the privilege of knowing what we could not know through our natural senses. The word of knowledge and the word of wisdom are often interspersed together with tongues and interpretation of tongues, and prophecy, in bringing edification, exhortation, and comfort to the one in need. Even the power gifts, the gift of faith, the working of miracles and the gifts of healings bring revelation from the mind and will of God. Jesus handed the keys of the kingdom of heaven over to those who acknowledge Him as The Christ, The Messiah, The Anointed One, and commissioned us to take His gospel to the world. Mt. 18:18 Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. Jesus taught in parables so that only those who followed Him would learn how to function in the kingdom of God. It is a precious privilege to walk closely with the Lord! Mark 4:11 And he said unto them, Unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all these things are done in parables: Our recreated spirit has been made one with Christ and the Holy Spirit dwells within us and thus we have access to the mind of Christ, the anointed One. 1 John 2:27 But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him. The context surrounding not needing anyone to teach you refers to the witness of the Spirit on the inside revealing those who are denying the Lord Jesus. Obviously we need teachers to teach and God Himself has set teachers in the church.
We are well aware that the natural, unregenerate man does not think God’s thoughts. Isaiah 55:8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. The Spirit of God through Paul says that the natural man cannot understand nor receive the things of the Spirit. 1 Corinthians 2:14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. Several verses later Paul refers to the Corinthian believers as carnal or those who are still ruled by their flesh.
1 Cor. 3:3 For ye are yet carnal: for whereas there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not carnal, and walk as men? These baby christians were still holding their own opinions and feelings as a higher authority than the word of God and therefore they could only receive the milk of the word. God has placed apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers in the church to help us grow in the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son God, till we come into the fulness of Christ. Ephesians 4:14&15 That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ: Jesus is amazing, He is getting His people ready to be caught up to be with Him forever! Those of us who love Him, the Lord and Master of our life, have yielded ourselves to Him, by starving to death the earthly desires, such as sexual immorality, indecency, lust, evil passions, and greed (for greed is a form of idolatry). We also put away anger, wrath, hateful feelings, insulting and obscene talk and all lies. As we were commanded to put off the old man so we are commanded to put on the new man which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness. Now that we are removed from the kingdom of darkness and placed by the Spirit into the kingdom of light we are to take God’s thoughts as our own and learn God’s ways. Colossians 3:10 And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him: Ephesians 4:23 And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; There is the natural knowledge which tends to make one proud and then there is the knowledge of God which multiplies grace and peace to you. 2 Peter 1:2&3 Grace and peace be multiplied unto you
Be Transformed By The Renewing Of Your Mind
through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord, According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: Have the mind of Christ in this truth also, we are joint heirs with Christ! It was God who placed us in Christ Jesus! 1 Cor. 1:30 But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption: Jesus
revealed what was given to us in the parable of the prodigal son. Luke 15:31 And he said unto him, Son, thou art ever with me, and all that I have is thine. Paul writes in Second Corinthians that all the promises of God are yes and Amen in Christ to God’s glory. John records Jesus personal pledge to us! John 15:7 If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. Now lets get back to what Peter wrote about God having already given us all things that pertain to life and godliness through the knowledge of God. 2 Peter 1:4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. Peter continues on to exhort us to diligently add these seven things to our faith so that we may experience all that Christ purchased for us through redemption. Diligently add to our faith, goodness, knowledge, self control, perseverance, godliness, brotherly kindness, and love, so that we might never fall. 2 Peter 1:10 Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall:
Philippians 2:5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus

Prophecy for “2023” by Kenneth Copeland

“What about 2023? What will 2023 be like? Lots of changes. Enormous amounts of changing.
A lot of the disturbances that are in the nation now will begin to be ironed out during that year, because
of the major decisions that the Supreme Court has made. Once the Supreme Court here makes it, God
makes it. He makes it right and turns it around.
“But 2023 will be as good as it can be because you will know the Truth and the Truth will make you
free. Glory to God. You will know and understand more about this Book and its authority in our lives.”
So we rejoice in it. Heavenly Father, we thank You for the blood covenants in this Book. “Yes, it will
be a year of great healings. It will be a year when whole churches will be healed and brought back to a
place that they have lacked for the last five years.
“It will be year of judgment. Good judgment. I will judge things good, and it will be a year of judgment
upon bad things. People who do not pay attention to what The WORD is saying, and pay no attention
to My WORD and to My people—they will come to a place where it is just an act of judgment because
of the seeds they have sown. And many, many, many of them will come to pass in 2023.
“There are those that will say, ‘Glory to God, I have been corrected and now my finances are
straightened out.’ And there are others who will say, ‘I do not understand why all this has happened to
me, but I guess give God the praise.’ But people will begin to know and understand that VICTORY IS
AT HAND when you worship Me, praise Me, and put My WORD as final authority in your life. “You
will know Me because I am the Truth. I am the Life. And I am the Way. My Father is Truth. With the
two of us together in your life, Truth will become a way of life for you. It will break the bondages the
devil has put in there. “All of this will come to pass before 2023 is halfway through.”
